This Nepal and Tibet combined trip begins once your arrival in Kathmandu, the capital city and cultural heart of Nepal. You will be spending couple of nights in Kathmandu to experience the culture, lifestyle and hospitality of Nepalese people. In addition, we will explore some of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu, which will be a unique experience for foreigners as it is a place beyond your imagination. Similarly, after exploring the Kathmandu we will fly to Lhasa, Tibet which is almost 2 hours of flight. In Lhasa you will see some of the landmarks like Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street and many more. This spiritualist and mystic land is rich in Buddhist monuments and culture. The trip ends after you fly back to Kathmandu by capturing the memories of Tibet.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu Representative of Adventure Mission Nepal will receive you in the Tribhuvan International Airport. They will be in possession of your name plate or the companies name as per your correspondence with us. Free and easy day.
Day 02:Full day sightseeing of the Kathmandu valley comprising Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and Patan Durbar Square.
Boudhanath stupa: This stupa and its surrounding is known as the Little Tibet in Kathmandu as many Tibetan refugees settled around this holy site for Tibetan Buddhists. This is a giant stupa with a height of 36 meters and a diameter of 100 m, making it the largest stupa in Nepal. As you go inside the premises of the stupa you can see many pilgrims and tourist going around in the process called Kora, a religious circling of the stupa. Having lunch on one of the roof top restaurants observing the activities of tourist and pilgrims is also interesting when you are here. Pashupatinath temple: Pashupatinath is the biggest and most scared Hindu temple in Kathmandu. This UNESCO world heritage site is a fascinating and a colofurful and playful monkeys in search of food. This place has it all. place as it has lot of Hindu pilgrims from Nepal and Other parts of the world doing all kinds of religious ceremonies, holy men with all kinds of makeup posing for pictures for tourist and. People having other religious faiths than Hinduism are not allowed inside the main temple courtyard but the outside is also interesting with many temples and small shrines. The cremation site beside the Pashupatinath temple is also an interesting place to see around this temple area. Patan Durbar Square- Patan or Lalitpur as it is known as is the city of fine arts. Patan has remained as a Buddhist city since ancient times and it is believed that the famous emperor Ashok of India visited this city back in the 3rd century BC. Although the city has more Buddhist monuments than Hindu temples the main Durbar Square area is full of Hindu temples dating back from different periods of Nepalese history. Some famous monuments in Patan include the Taleju temple, the Bhimsen Temple, The golden temple, the temple of 1000 Buddha and the Sun Dhara, meaning golden tap. Patan city is famous for its export of arts and crafts done in metal.
Day 03: Fly to Gongar Airport. Today we will fly to Gongar airport which will take us about 2 and half hours. Upon arrival at Gongar airport we drive half an hour to reach Lhasa, the capital city of Lhasa. In the evening we walk around the old markets to experience the monuments and local life style of Lhasa. Overnight stay at Lhasa.
Day 04: Full day sightseeing of Lhasa Today after a delicious breakfast we start our sightseeing of Lhasa. Today we explore the magnificent Norbulingka and Potala Palaces. Potala palace was constructed in 17th century and it grants superb view of the whole city and residence of the Dalai Lama with several impressive rooms and garden. Similarly, Norbulingka literally means "Treasure Park”. It is situated at the area about 360000 sq. m and is taken as the one of the largest artificial garden in Tibet and is also the summer Palace of Dalai Lama. On the same way, we explore the Tibet Museum which is taken as the authorized museum of Tibet. Museum possesses more than 1000 permanent artifacts associated to the history and culture of Tibet. Overnight stay at Lhasa.
Day 05: Explore Lhasa. Today is the second day of sightseeing of Lhasa. Today we explore Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazaar and Drepung Monastery. Drepung Monastery was constructed in 14th century and assumed to have privileged about 10000 monks in the years ago but now there are only few hundreds. Tibetan people are highly concerted in this stunning monastery with the culture, religious belief and history. Sera monastery is one of magnificent monasteries situated at 5 km north of Lhasa city. This pretty monastery was once a residence of more than 5000 monks. Jokhang Temple lies at the centre of Old Lhasa. It is a residence of Tibet's most valuable spiritual remnant, a golden Sakyamuni Buddha which was brought as a present by the Chinese Princess Wen Cheng on the time of her marriage to the Tibetan King Songtsen Gompo. Similarly, we visit Barkhor market; it is heart of Lhasa with its open shops and mass of pilgrims. Overnight stay at Lhasa.
Day 06: Fly to Kathmandu. Today we will fly to Kathmandu via Gongar airport. Depending upon your flight schedule we will arrange for sightseeing in Kathmandu. In the evening, we will go for dinner with cultural program to review your trip of Nepal and Tibet.
Day 07: Farewell Finally, we conclude the trip in the mountain region. Today we exchange our experience and feelings regarding the trip and also exchange the emails and photos. And Adventure Mission Nepal representative will guide you to the airport for the final departure. Hope to see you again for next trip.
