Apis laborious, the largest honey bee in the world is the source of that wild honey in the cliffs nearby Ghale Gaun. These bees make their hives on the high cliffs of the foothills and the honey hunters risk their lives to harvest the honey for survival.  The honey hunters build rope ladders and baskets to get to the combs after the bees have been flushed out with smoke by lighting a fire underneath the hives.
